Your school board is gaining ground in being able to consider agenda items earlier and more fully. My statement below explains the need. I, for one, am grateful the District administration has been working even harder to get the agenda items to us even earlier.
Policy states that board members will be able to have the agenda at least 4 days in advance of a meeting, and we agreed last month to start making that happen. I’m very pleased to report that it did happen this month. It’s still a lot to review and evaluate in a short time before approving it, but the efforts to get the information to us sooner are definitely appreciated!
